Many doctors, nurses and other government workers in Nigeria on retirement are subjected to various physical, mental, emotional and psychological torture before they can access the pension funds that they contributed during their time in service.
Many of these pensioners have died without getting their money. Some are battling terminal illnesses like hypertension and diabetes mellitus while others have been thrown into a life of sorrow and despair.
This is not only unfair but an act of extreme wickedness.
